Join us for our monthly book discussion! This month we will be discussing No Time Like the Future by Michael J. Fox in the South Summit Services Building Conference Room. Please contact Katie Stellpflug at kstellpflug@summitcountyutah.gov or call the library at 435-783-3190 with any questions. You can pick up a copy of the book at the library. All are welcome.

Emerging Issues is an adult discussion program that includes pre-readings, viewing a video together in class then breaking into small discussion groups.  In July our topic is Beyond Wind & Solar: Developments in Alternative Energy. Please note that by registering for this program, you are agreeing to share your email address with Bob Shallenberg and other participants in the Emerging Issues program. Watch preview video here.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Registration will open on June 30 at 10am on this same webpage. All participants must have an active Summit County Library card. Library cards are free for Summit County residents/employees and $25/year for nonresidents. Class size is limited to 30 participants, first come first served.

All classes will be held in the Auditorium of the Kimball Junction Branch Library. Please contact Murph at smurphy@summitcountyutah.org or 435-336-3069 if you have any questions.  

Chess Club meets on the *2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at the Kimball Junction Branch in Room 133 downstairs by the DMV from 6:00-7:45 p.m. Chess sets and refreshments will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own sets as well. The group is intended for ages 18+. If someone younger would like to join, we ask that a parent or another adult accompany them. All abilities are welcome.
