Join us for our final "Show Your Colors" summer reading activity! Wind down the library summer fun playing with Legos and attempting our Lego challenge!

Join us for a free screening of The Thicket (R, 1h 45m) in the Kimball Junction Branch auditorium. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Joe R. Lansdale. After the screening, we will have an optional discussion about the novel and the film. The ebook and audiobook are available on Libby, and the book is also available to check out.

Synopsis: When a bounty hunter and a band of unlikely heroes pursue a brutal killer, they find themselves in a deadly no-man's-land known as the Thicket.

No experience required!  A fun, casual class led by local artist Amber Louder who will be using the Let's Make Art watercolor tutorials.For teens and adults, art supplies will be provided. The first Thursday of every month at 6pm. Please RSVP 435-336-3070, space is limited.

Parents and kids read the same book then come for discussion and to enjoy bookish snacks. Thursday, August 14, 6:30 pm, join us to discuss the hilarious and wacky Leeva at Last by Sara Pennypacker.
