Peoples of Utah Revisited - Scan and Share Event

About this event
The Summit County History Museum is partnering with the Utah Historical Society. Join us at a the Ledges Event Center (202 Park Rd. Coalville, UT 84017) for a Scan and Share event to preserve and share your history. Bring your photos, letters, recipes, and other historical materials that represent your past, your family, and your community in Utah. Staff and volunteers will engage with you to learn about your items, create digital copies of these items, and return the originals to you. These digital copies will become part of the Peoples of Utah Revisited online collection, accessible to all, at the Utah Historical Society. The Peoples of Utah Revisited seeks to widen the lens on Utah's history and amplify marginalized voices by preserving and sharing your history. Working in partnership, we can create a deeper understanding of our shared history.
We suggest bringing a maximum of 6 items to scan that are important to your family or community. If you have an item with multiple pages, like a journal or scrapbook, please choose the most significant pages to scan.
