This month we'll be watching the film The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (TV-PG, 123 minutes) on our own through Netflix and having a discussion about the book and film over Zoom. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Mary Ann Schaffer. The e-book and audiobook are always available on Libby and the book and book on CD are available to check out from the library. Synopsis: In 1946, a London-based writer begins exchanging letters with residents on the island of Guernsey, which was German-occupied during WWII. Feeling compelled to visit the island, she starts to get a picture of what it was like during the occupation.
