*This event will be held at the Park City Library (1255 Park Ave., Park City, UT 84060).

*Unfortunately Jon Klaczkiewicz is no longer available to do a virtual Q&A following the film, but Park City Film is still offering the free screening of SWIFT.SILENT.DEEP.

About the film: The sly skiing fraternity Jackson Hole Air Force takes the sport out of bounds and to the extreme; when they came together and on the slopes, these skiers knew no boundaries despite efforts to stop them.

About the filmmaker: Jon “JK” Klaczkiewicz is a director and producer of numerous adventure sports films, from the cult classic ski doc SWIFT.SILENT.DEEP to Jeremy Jones’ Further. A former athlete and member of the Jackson Hole Air Force, JK has traveled, skied and snowboarded across the Alps, the Arctic Circle and Japan on assignment. Most recently, he directed The Fourth Phase for Red Bull Media House, covering the ravages of climate change as well as the feats of snowboarder Travis Rice and friends. Described by Vanity Fair as “a snowboarding movie for people who don’t snowboard,” the film “is as much a meditation on dying winters and melting snowcaps as it is on dudes with long hair and Technicolor snowsuits shredding mountains.”
