Utah Native Plant Society - Guest Speaker Phil Douglass

Summit County Plant Enthusiasts! Please join us for our next Native Plant Society meeting at the Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch Auditorium on Friday, February 3, 6:30-8pm.

Our guest speaker, Phil Douglass, wildlife ambassador, will present to us about his field work, native bird species and their habitats within the Wasatch mountains and in the Great Salt Lake Basin, as well as the plant communities they rely upon. In 1986 Phil began working with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources: Phil's mission in his career, and indeed his passion throughout his life, is connecting people with these wild lands.
