*Library Play Time has been cancelled on 9/12/25 at the Kimball Junction Branch due to illness. Unstructured Play Time in our air-conditioned auditorium for children age 0-5 and their caregivers. Dolls, cars, duplos, puzzles, pretend play--so much to play with and explore. Meet new friends, young and old. Every Tuesday,10:30 am-12:00 pm (unless the library is closed.) Drop in anytime. Siblings welcome.

Have your kids unwind after a busy school week with our Free Kids' Yoga Class. Fridays at 1:00 pm, for elementary school age children. Bring a mat, if you have one, we'll have some extras, too. Certified yoga instructor.

Space is limited; pre-registration is required. To register, email: knilsson@summitcountyutah.gov. Please include "Kids' Yoga Sign-Up" in the subject line. 

*There will be no Yoga Class on Halloween, October 31st.

Emerging Issues is an adult discussion program that includes pre-readings, viewing a video together in class then breaking into small discussion groups. This month's topic is The National Debt: Ticking Time Bomb or No Problem? Please note that by registering for this program, you are agreeing to share your email address with Bob Shallenberg and other participants in the Emerging Issues program.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Registration will open on Sept 2 at 10am on this same webpage. All participants must have an active Summit County Library card. Class size is limited to 45 participants, and all classes will be held in the Auditorium of the Kimball Junction Branch Library. 

Join our newest book club for tweens (4th-6th graders)! We'll have a monthly book discussion with snacks. Registration is required and books are available for checkout at the library. Meet in the Kamas Library small conference room.

Chess Club meets on the *2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at the Kimball Junction Branch in Room 133 downstairs by the DMV from 6:00-7:45 p.m. Chess sets and refreshments will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own sets as well. The group is intended for ages 18+. If someone younger would like to join, we ask that a parent or another adult accompany them. All abilities are welcome.

Join Ms. Kirsten for picture books, songs, puppets and a simple craft. For children ages 4-6 and their grown-ups. Siblings always wecome!

Puppets, songs, dancing, and all kinds of early learning fun. Lots of movement for babies, toddlers (ages 0-3) and their caregivers. Older siblings always welcome.

Have you always wanted to try D&D? Join us for a D&D session where imagination reigns, dice decide destinies and every roll could lead to glory...or disaster. Whether you're a seasoned dungeon crawler or totally new to the game, all are welcome at our table. The fourth Tuesday of each month, call 435-336-3070 to register. For ages 12-18.

We will be discussing Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea by Barbara Demick on Tuesday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 133 (downstairs by the DMV) at the Kimball Junction Branch and on Zoom.
